Mega Media has always promoted Education as a means to improve and grow the media industry in Singapore. Through the “Digital Media Academy” (DMA), professional media courses are offered for skills upgrading and professional certification. Today, the Academy is the official certification centre for the MAYA animation software. Students are able to receive official training and certification in software applications as well as receive attractive subsidies from the MDA and the Workforce Development Agency. DMA has also offered seminars and workshops in Production Management, Directing and Scriptwriting, all taught by international trainers from the US, UK and Australia. As part of the Mega Media Group, DMA has been able to translate the group’s HD experience and expertise into the creation of the Asian High definition Workshops. Offering professional skills training in the HD medium for the region.

In July 2007, Mega Media embarked on the next chapter of its educational activities by inking an agreement with SIM University to design and conduct media specialization courses for the University’s undergraduate programme.
