Mega Media is the leader in High Definition content in South East Asia. Being the first company in Singapore to acquire High Definition facilities and pioneer HD production workflows, Mega Media has co-produced HD programmes with Voom HD Networks, the world’s largest HD producer, and is also currently providing 5 HD channels to Singapore’s SingTel mio TV IPTV service. Mega Media will continue to create new branded HD channels for the region.

With the introduction of the new IPTV service, mio TV, in July 2007 in Singapore, Mega Media became Singapore’s 2nd broadcaster. It currently provides a total of 6 channels (5 HD channels and 1 SD channel) on this new platform. These 6 channels are packaged to attract specific market segments from babies, school-going youths, urban-city dwellers to mothers. 2008 will see Mega Media market and distribute the channels to the region.

Mega Media is the most established independent media company in the region. It is the only company in South East Asia to cover the entire media content workflow in High Definition. Mega Media owns Singapore’s only Dolby certified motion picture soundstage as well as South East Asia’s first D-Cinema Encoder. Mega Media is also the first company in Singapore to deploy a complete HD OB (Outside Broadcast) setup. It has successfully inked co-production deals with Vietnam, Indonesia, United States, Italy, France and Germany.
